Now that you are familiar with the history and recent trends for each of these frameworks, we will look at the community to assess the development of these frameworks. We have already seen that for all of the frameworks, incremental releases have been shipped regularly over the past year, which indicates that development is going on in full swing.

As you’re working with your framework of choice, you don’t want to have to worry about a framework update coming along and messing up your code. Though in most cases you won’t encounter many issues from one version to another, it’s important to keep your finger on the pulse because some updates can be more significant and require tweaks to keep things compatible.

Angular plans major updates every six months. There is also a period of another six months before any major APIs are deprecated, which gives you the time of two release cycles (one year) to make necessary changes, if any.

When it comes to Angular vs React, Facebook has stated that stability is of utmost importance to them, as huge companies like Twitter and Airbnb use React. Upgrades through versions are generally the easiest in React, with scripts such as react-codemod helping you to migrate.

Additionally, if you use a popular CDN to load these libraries, it is highly probable that a user has the library already loaded in their local system.

Components are integral parts of all three frameworks, no matter if we’re talking VueReact, or Angular. A component generally gets an input, and changes behavior based on it. This behavior change generally manifests as a change in the UI of some part of the page. The use of components makes it easy to reuse code. A component may be a cart on an e-commerce site or a login box on a social network.

Angular Angular:
In Angular, components are referred to as directives. Directives are just markers on DOM elements, which Angular can track and attach specific behavior too. vue Vue:

Further, Vue has an overlap with Angular and React with respect to their functionality like the use of components. Hence, the transition to Vue from either of the two is an easy option. However, simplicity and flexibility of Vue is a double-edged sword — it allows poor code, making it difficult to debug and test.

Xiaomi se convierte en el segundo fabricante mundial de smartphones

Xiaomi supera a Apple en ventas de smartphones durante el segundo trimestre de 2021 y se convierte, por primera vez en su historia, como el segundo mayor fabricante de móviles a nivel mundial.

A lo largo del segundo trimestre de 2021, las ventas de smartphones han seguido la senda ascendente de los meses anteriores con un incremento de los envíos del 12%.

Xiaomi supera a Apple

Un trimestre más, Samsung se ha alzado como proveedor líder del mercado con una cuota de mercado del 19% y un crecimiento interanual del 15%.

Sin embargo, la gran novedad se ha producido en el segundo puesto, en el que Apple llevaba trimestres asentado y que durante los meses de abril a junio le ha arrebatado Xiaomi.

Por primera vez en su historia, el fabricante chino se sitúa como segundo fabricante mundial con una cuota de mercado del 17% tras un espectacular crecimiento del 83% respecto al mismo período de hace un año.

Este auge se debe, principalmente y como destaca Ben Stanton, responsable de investigación de Canalys, a que Xiaomi está poniendo un foco importante para que su negocio fuera de China crezca muy rápidamente.

De hecho, sus envíos crecieron más de un 300% en América Latina, un 150% en África y un 50% en Europa Occidental.

Sin duda, se trata de una recompensa al buen desempeño de la firma que ya en el cuarto trimestre de 2020 consiguió que sus envíos globales ascendieran a 43,4 millones de unidades con un crecimiento interanual del 31,5% y superando a Apple por primera vez.

Meses más tarde, en el primer trimestre de este año, Apple subió hasta la posición número dos con el 15% de cuota de mercado mundial de smartphones, seguida de cerca por Xiaomi con un 14%.

En ese momento, los envíos globales de smartphones de Xiaomi fueron de 49,4 millones de unidades con un 69,1% de crecimiento interanual.

“Ahora está transformando su modelo de negocio de retador a titular, con iniciativas como la consolidación de partners de canal y una gestión más cuidadosa de las acciones antiguas en el mercado abierto.”

No obstante, la firma sigue todavía inclinándose hacia el mercado masivo y, en comparación con Samsung y Apple, su precio medio de venta es de alrededor del 40% y 75% más barato, respectivamente.

Ambas cuentan en el segundo trimestre con una cuota de mercado del 10%, si bien el crecimiento interanual de Oppo ha sido ligeramente superior, de un 28%, mientras que el de Vivo ha sido de un 27%.

No obstante, todos los proveedores de smartphones tienen un importante desafío de cara a los próximos meses y ya están trabajando intensamente para asegurar el suministro de componentes en medio de la escasez global que se vive.

Pero, junto a este reto, desde Canalys apuntan que Xiaomi también tiene otro importante objetivo en mente y no es otro que desplazar a Samsung para convertirse en el proveedor de smartphones más grande del mundo.

Para ello, la compañía, invirtió casi 10.000 millones de yuanes en I + D en 2020 y este año se espera que esta cifra se incremente en un 30-40%. 

Además de llevar este año una gran campaña de reclutamiento de ingenieros, un total de 5.000, que representarán en 20% del total de empleados. ¿Contribuirán a que Xiaomi se alce como proveedor líder en el mercado de smartphones?

Rivian recauda otros $ 2.5 mil millones mientras busca construir una segunda fábrica

Aedas is an international architectural firm that provides services in architecture, interior design, landscape design, urban design, masterplanning, and graphics. It was established in 2002 as an alliance between three existing companies in the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, and Australia.

Aedas was established in 2002 as an international alliance between British architecture firm Abbey Holford Rowe, Peddle Thorp of Australia, and LPT Architects (formerly Liang Peddle Thorpe) of Hong Kong. At that time, Peddle Thorp and LPT already had an existing alliance. The three firms were respectively renamed Aedas AHR, Aedas Peddle Thorp, and Aedas LPT. It was planned to drop the suffixes over time, and the offices eventually adopted the simpler “Aedas” brand.

Aedas opened its first China office in Beijing in 2002 and was appointed to design Fortune Plaza 1 (2003). Other mixed-commercial projects in Beijing include TG Harbour View Apartment, R&F City, R&F Plaza and R&F Centre in Beijing. The company set up offices in Macau (2004), Shanghai (2005) and Chengdu (2005).

In Macau, Aedas delivered its first integrated casino resort project Sands Macau  in 2004. Aedas was commissioned as Lead Architect for The Venetian Macao (2007),  Four Seasons Hotel Macau (2008), Sands Cotai Central (2012), Marina Bay Sands (Singapore; 2011)  and The Parisian Macao (2016). 

The company was commissioned to design Dubai Metro (2004). The Dubai office was established in 2005 and the Abu Dhabi office was set up in 2007. In 2010 and 2011, Ocean Heights,  Boulevard Plaza and Ubora Towers, all in Dubai, were completed.

La Iglesia más Antigua del Mundo: Archibasílica de San Juan de Letrán

La Iglesia Archibasílica del Salvador y de los santos Juan Bautista y Juan Evangelista.

Es más conocida como Archibasílica de San Juan de Letrán es la catedral de la diócesis de Roma, donde se encuentra la sede episcopal del obispo de Roma (el Papa).

Está dedicada a Cristo Salvador, sin embargo es más conocida con el nombre de San Juan, por estar dedicada a los dos santos principales que llevan este nombre.

Junto al palacio anexo y algunos otros edificios cercanos, goza del estatus de extraterritorialidad dentro del Estado italiano, por lo que es propiedad de la Santa Sede.

La basílica es una de las iglesias que se deben visitar en el peregrinaje de las siete iglesias de Roma para alcanzar la indulgencia plenaria en Año Santo.

En 1980 fue incluida en la lista del Patrimonio de la Humanidad en Europa por la Unesco, con el número de identificación 91-002.

Desde el mismo año, además, se puede acceder a través de la estación del metro de Roma San Giovanni. 

El nombre oficial de la Iglesia es Archibasilica Sanctissimi Salvatoris, es la más antigua y la de rango más alto entre las cuatro basílicas mayores o papales de Roma.

Tiene el título honorífico de «Omnium urbis et orbis ecclesiarum mater et caput» (madre y cabeza de todas las iglesias de la ciudad de Roma y de toda la tierra), por ser la sede episcopal del primado de todos los obispos, el papa.

Fue consagrada por el papa San Silvestre en el año 324.

La Iglesia Archibasílica surge en el siglo III en tierras de los Lateranos, noble familia romana caída en desgracia bajo Nerón, cuya propiedad pasó por tanto al dominio imperial. El palacio pasó a manos de Constantino I cuando se casó con su segunda mujer, Fausta, hermana de Majencio, y era conocido con el nombre de Domus Faustae. Por tanto, Constantino era su propietario cuando ganó la batalla del Puente Milvio (contra Majencio), en el 312.

La tradición cristiana indica que los terrenos y la residencia de los Lateranos fueron donados al obispo de Roma (la fecha de la donación no es segura pero debería ser durante el pontificado del papa Melquíades), en señal de gratitud del emperador a Cristo, que apareciéndosele durante el sueño, le había hecho vencer en la batalla del Puente Milvio.

Angkor Wat: La estructura Religiosa más grande jamás construida en Camboya

Angkor Wat (en camboyano, អង្គរវត្ត, Ângkôr Vôtt /ɑŋkɔr vɔt/), escrito también en ocasiones Angkor Vat, es el templo hinduista más grande y también el mejor conservado de los que integran el asentamiento de Angkor. Está considerado como la mayor estructura religiosa jamás construida, y uno de los tesoros arqueológicos más importantes del mundo.

Ubicado 5,5 km al norte de la actual Siem Riep, en la provincia homónima de Camboya, Angkor Wat forma parte del complejo de templos construidos en la zona de Angkor, la antigua capital del Imperio jemer durante su época de esplendor, entre los siglos ix y xv. Angkor abarca una extensión en torno a los 200 km², aunque recientes investigaciones hablan de una posible extensión de 3000 km² y una población de hasta medio millón de habitantes.

Desde su construcción a principios del siglo xii y hasta el traslado de la sede real al cercano Bayón, a finales del mismo siglo, Angkor Wat fue el centro político y religioso del imperio. El recinto —entre cuyos muros se ha calculado que vivían 20.000 personas, cumplía las funciones de templo principal, y albergaba además el palacio real.

Dedicado inicialmente al dios Vishnú,​ arquitectónicamente el templo combina la tipología hinduista del templo-monte —representando el Monte Meru, morada de los dioses— con la tipología de galerías propia de períodos posteriores. El templo consta de tres recintos rectangulares concéntricos de altura creciente, rodeados por un lago perimetral de 3,6 km de longitud y de una anchura de 200 m. En el recinto interior se elevan cinco torres en forma de loto, alcanzando la torre central una altura de 42 m sobre el santuario​ y 65 m sobre el nivel del suelo.

La palabra Angkor viene del camboyano នគរ, Nokor, y a su vez de la voz sánscrita नगर, Nagara, que significa «capital», mientras que la palabra Wat es de origen jemer y se traduce como «templo». El nombre de Angkor Wat es en todo caso posterior a su creación, pues originalmente recibió el nombre de Preah Pisnokar, nombre póstumo de su fundador Suryavarman II.

Angkor Wat se ha convertido en un símbolo de Camboya, hasta el punto de figurar en la bandera de su país. El 14 de diciembre de 1992 fue declarado por la Unesco Patrimonio de la Humanidad.
